Echo Horn
Having trouble teaching your clients phoneme imitation, turn-taking, or how to blow a bubble? The Echo Horn, used as detailed in the Oral-Motor Exercises for Speech Clarity Book, may be just what you need. No cables or batteries required.

Blowing Duration Tubes

Duration is a necessary component of muscle control, as it allows us to continue to vocalize or verbalize on a single exhalation.  Duration Tubes provide a visual cue for increasing controlled airflow. By lengthening the tube and switching from the fuzzy to the plastic ball you can make the activity or exercise more difficult as well as fun, as the child or adult  gains proficiency.   Each tube can be extended to more than 3 times their initial length of 8 inches.  Each tube can be connected to each other and extended until the desired duration is reached!

The Duration Tubes, used as described in the enclosed Instructions/Suggestions, can assist you in the task of developing and increasing your child's duration of oral airflow.

Spirometer

The Spirometer is an excellent complement to the Horn and Bubble Hierarchies (which target abdominal grading and controlled oral airflow). It does not produce sound, so it is excellent for use with those who exhibit auditory defensiveness. 
It also features a dial which allows you to adjust the level of difficulty. Includes two mouthpieces (one flat, one round), and one nose clip.
The Spirometer is especially useful for clients with VPI and children who need visual cues. 
The Spirometer helps build intraoral pressure and controlled airflow for adults, as well as for children, which translates into longer utterances, increased breath support, and coordination of tongue retraction with an open mouth posture required for vowel sounds.

Pre-Hierarchy Horn

The Pre-Hierarchy Horn sounds off with both inhalation and exhalation. Combined with the wide mouth opening, this proven tool helps very young children and clients with minimal airflow progress to the TalkTools Original Horn Kit. (Also for those who cannot blow Horn #1.) 

TalkTools Instructions include how to teach your client to use volitional control of oral airflow for blowing as a component of phoneme imitation. Colors may vary.

Nose Flute
The Nose Flute is one of the best tools on the market to facilitate nasal airflow, an integral component of velo-pharyngeal control and speech clarity development. Manufacturer's instructions included.

Balloon Car
Balloon Cars will run only if the abdominal muscles are working very hard.   Blow them up and watch them race to the finish line! They are sure to provide full muscle based work out,  targetting lips, tongue retraction & abdominal grading.  Not to be used until the Horn Kit has been completed.

Horn Kit

A TalkTools original! This motivational therapy tool serves as a beneficial adjunct to traditional therapy techniques. 

The horn kit is designed to normalize oral musculature, correct articulation errors, improve abdominal grading and speech clarity, and also serves as a prerequisite for working on oral-nasal contrasts.  

Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson, MS, CCC/SLP has re-configured the Horn Blowing Hierarchy. 

Horn #9 (Airplane Horn) and Horn #14 (Balloon Horn) are no longer components of this kit. 

This change will NOT affect the Hierarchy in any way. TalkTools Instructions included.
